13th Annual “Run It Out” 5K

The 13th Annual “Run It Out” 5K Run/Walk to honor Brian Fleury will be held on April 28th at Central Park of Morris County. Proceeds from the race will benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. We need everyone’s help to make the race the most successful year yet. Please consider participating and donating via the link below.
Brian Fleury grew up in Morris Plains and graduated from Morristown High School in 1986. He was a highly decorated baseball player who was drafted by the Houston Astros out of high school. Instead of heading to the minors, Brian accepted a baseball scholarship to attend Georgia Tech. While at Georgia Tech, Brian was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and forced to undergo various treatments. Shortly after his graduation from Delaware, he became a teacher and coach at Delbarton. He valiantly battled the disease for two decades before passing away in 2007. Brian was an inspiration to many in the classroom, on the field and in the way he lived his life. To read more about Brian, see additional links below or visit the race registration page.
